Welcome to Year 5

We have attached below a more detailed Termly Overview, which will provide you with a list of topics and subjects taught in Year 5 throughout Summer 2.

This half term, there will be a Science theme focussing on life cycles of animals with a focus on humans. In Geography we will belearning about Scandinavia and its geographical features.

Maths objectives will follow the Power Maths scheme with a focus on measure, negative number sequences and multiplying and dividing decimals by 10,100 and 1000.

In Year Five...

Both classes will have PE on Monday

Both classes will be swimming on a Thursday morning for the rest of the school year.

Please ensure all pupils have their PE or swimming kit in school for use on the correct days. Trainers and/plimsolls should be made available for indoor and outdoor sessions.
